Austin County 4-H Rifle Team

The Austin County 4-H Rifle team is open to 4-H age kids who live in Austin County Tex and are currently enrolled in 4-H. We begin our season in Late October with the Basic Rifle Training Course required by all new prospective team members. We will cover rifle safety and go over the 3 positions that we shoot in competion. The kids will be required to show proficiency in the position in order to join the team once the BRTC is complete. The cost is determined at the time of the course but is usually around $50. The club has all the equipment that a shooter will need to compete at the 4-H level. You are required to supply your own shooting glasses and ear protection (ear plugs are preferred). The course and practices are held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at our range in Sealy, Tex.
